Patricia Healy, a resident of Pompano Beach, Mount Sinai and White Plains, passed away from natural causes on October 14.2016 in White Plains.
Pat was born in New York city on January 20, 1928 to Alice McAndrews Manning and Joseph Manning. She is survived by her brother John Manning, her three children, Pat, Pam and Craig, and her five grandchildren, Colin, Terry and Evan Hanahoe, Justin and Meagan Reilly. She was a devoted Catholic who worshiped at many local churches.
She loved to travel and enjoyed her trips from Hawaii to Ireland. She always took a keen interest in everyone she met and touched their lives. Pat will forever be remembered for her caring heart, her kindness and her generosity. Her favorite spot in the world was sitting on Cedar Beach, watching the sunset over Long Island Sound.
She was currently a convention concierge with the Freeman Company at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, where she has worked for over 30 years. Previously she also worked as a convention manager with George Little Management, of White Plains.
There will be a funeral service at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Parlor at 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains, N.Y. on October 17 from 2-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, The Capuchin Franciscans (www.capuchin.net) or the ASPCA.
