Oliva Papa

Oliva Papa, 97, of Elmsford, NY passed away on April 26, 2016. She was born on January 27, 1919 in Colledimezzo, Chieti. Oliva was predeceased by her loving husband Ubaldo, a son Nicola, a daughter Elodia, brothers Mike, Nicola and Jimmy, and a sister Giovanna. She is survived by her beloved sons Tony (MaryLou), Vinny (Aimee) and her beloved daughters Anna (Americo), Lucy (Dominico), Rita (Ernesto), Lisa (Bruno), Ellie (Bob), and Nella (Tony) and her sister Concetta Carrea. She is also survived by her adored 22 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, April 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 E. Main Street, Elmsford, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 29th at 11am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Elmsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elmsford Ambulance Corps c/o the Elmsford Fire Department. She will be missed by all who knew her.
