Mr. David Klaboe

David Klaboe,78, of Bronxville NY and Manhattan; lover of art, life, and family passed away on March 29, 2019 at home (hospital) with his loved one beside him. David was an accomplished artist with a profound desire to create, learn (or teach), and to converse. David embodied the best of friends, family, and ... some. He would often be found creating his art, spending time with daughter Carlin and partner in life Connie, and sharing his political views with extreme passion. F Trump!! David was a proud Norwegian often posting his beautiful array of pictures-making those who saw them envious. David studied at Parsons MFA design and technology, Pratt Institute, and School of Visual Arts in NYC. David worked at Scholastic & Franklin Watts for 25 years as a freelance cover designer which he then leveraged to start his own business, Klaboe Design, in 1993. Dave was an accomplished artist, an amazing father, partner, uncle and friend. David served our country proudly in the Navy. Alas, words cannot capture the ways and the extent to which he will be missed by his partner Connie, his daughter Carlin, his family and friends!
