Linsey Levine, beloved wife, mother, and friend passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at age 75.

Linsey was born on August 22, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY to David and Rose Magid. Linsey graduated from Queens College in NY with a B.A. in Education and from The College of New Rochelle with an M.A. in Career Development. Linsey was a longtime Westchester County resident.

To know Linsey, was to know a generosity of spirit. A love of family, friends and home, you were always a welcomed member of her family-of- choice. Her interest and passions were bountiful but most important to her: education, music, the arts, and social justice. She will be remembered for her commitment to coach all she met to "get unstuck" and courageously pursue their dreams

Linsey is survived by her husband, Herb Rose, daughters Abby and Julie, granddaughter Alyssa, and many dear, dear friends.

A funeral will be held at Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester on Monday, April 16 at 11:30am at 2125 Westchester Avenue East in Rye.
