Leena Ulahannan

Leena Ulahannan, 64, of New Hartford, died suddenly April 9, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Athirampuzha, Kerala, India, and received her Master's Degree in English. She married Dr. Mathew Ulahannan in 1980 in India.

Leena worked as the office manager for her husband's medical practice.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford and was active locally in the Indian community.

Leena is survived by her husband Dr. Mathew Ulahannan of New Hartford; her son John (Shoma) Ulahannan of Syracuse; her daughter Netha Ulahannan of New York City; her grandchildren Ajay and Aarian; her siblings; Alice John Pulickal, Jose Pandarakalam, Cherian Pandarakalam, Marykutty Madathikunnel, and Aniamma Kurichiyel and many nieces and nephews especially Ancy Davis

The funeral service will be at 12:30pm on Friday April 13, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 148 Hamilton Avenue, White Plains. The Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY on Friday following the funeral mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, NY.
