Katherine Salyer

Katherine Salyer of Croton On Hudson, NY, died November 24, 2012 in Sleepy Hollow, NY at 1:54am with her daughter by her side. She was 50 years old. Katherine worked as a beloved nurse at Fordham University Hospital. Her greatest accomplishment are her two children who will carry on her name and spirit Ryan Salyer and Fallon Gaines. Kathy is also survived by her mother, Katherine Salyer, brother Frederick Salyner, sisters Maureen and Eileen Salyer. Katherine was a wonderful loving aunt to Katherine Johnson, Kevin Norman, Chrissy, Freddie and Robbie Salyer. A memorial service will be held at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains on Thursday from 4-9pm. Cremation will be private.
