Eleanor Cardello-Zodda

Eleanor Cardello-Zodda, 90, former resident of White Plains, NY, died May 8, 2013. She was born August 3, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Charles Cardello and Josephine Mascaro. Eleanor was a dietician by profession. She loved cooking; volunteering her services to the Ladies Auxilary Knights of Columbus and playing cards and bingo. She treasured her time with her beloved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Diane (Paul) Celentano, Josie-Ann (Peter) Muller and Philip J.(Katheleen) Zodda Jr. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Zodda Sr. Friends will be received at Ballard-Durand FH, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY on Sunday, May 12, from 4pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 13, 11 am at St. Frances of Rome Church, 761 E. 236 ST., Bronx, NY 10466. Internment will follow the service at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY. Family will also be receiving visitors on Monday, May 13 from 5pm-8pm at 11 Church Street, Pleasantville, NY 10570.
