Constance Carlin

CARLIN-Constance H., 90, passed away peacefully at home on December 12 surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of 70 years of Melvin H. Carlin, beloved mother of Don Carlin (Charlotte), the late William A. Carlin, and the late Robert F. Carlin. Loved sister of Richard Haas and the late William Haas. Survived by daughters in law Diane Gray and Leonora Carlin and grandchildren Kimberly Harrel, Sara Castano, Ben Carlin, Ross Carlin, Caroline Carlin and Christopher Carlin, and nephew Gregory Haas. In her declining years she was lovingly cared for with utmost devotion by husband Melvin Carlin with help from friends and caregivers Diann Farda, Amy Mills, Bridget McGee, Nikki Ahern, Rita Kustimovitch, and Dorothy Gadsden. Connie did volunteer work for the Alzheimer's Association of White Plains. She loved to travel with her husband, Mel. Connie enjoyed playing golf, Bridge, Mah Jongg, and Canasta with friends. She had a lifelong love for her dogs. She will be deeply missed. A private gathering of family and friends will honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
