William F. Young, a longtime resident of White Plains, New York, passed away peacefully at the age of 99. Mr. Young served his country honorably in World War II from 1942-1946. He was recalled to service during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Young was a civil engineer and joined the construction company of his father Robert Young Construction Company in Hartsdale and Elmsford, New York where he served as President for many years. Upon the sale of his company, he worked for Iona College, New Rochelle, New York for 20 years. Mr. Young was predeceased by his father and mother, Isabella and Robert Young. William was a kind, caring and devoted man and will be missed by his close friends and relatives. He leaves behind many wonderful memories of his respect for traditions, philanthropy, and especially, his beloved Scotland.
