William Sullivan 71, of Brewster, N.Y. and a former longtime resident of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Feb. 8, 2007 at Putnam Hospital in Carmel, NY. He was born on April 27, 1935 to William and Jane Sullivan in New Rochelle, NY. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. William was a security Guard with both Capelli Development in Valhalla, N.Y. and the Rockefeller Estate in Pocantico Hills, N.Y. He was a member of the Hawthorne Fire Dept. from 1966-1983. He is survived by his wife Jennie Sullivan of Brewster, N.Y. 3 daughters Colleen Virus and Deborah Lyons of Brewster, N.y. and Ann Crofoot of Carmel, N.Y. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment to follow.
