William (Bill) Rufo

William (Bill) Rufo 68, of Thornwood, N.Y. and formerly of Yonkers and Bronx, N.Y. died on Jan. 13, 2012. He was born on Dec.16, 1943 to the late Costanzo and Josephine (nee Savastano) Rufo in Bronx, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Lorraine (nee Giaccio) Rufo of Thornwood, N.Y. his loving children; Paul (Stephanie) Rufo of Thornwood, N.Y. Joan (Lauren) Ferrigno of Monroe, Conn. and Lauren Francesco) Stanco of Hawthorne, N.Y. one sister, Sylvia (Norman) Gewirtz of Pembroke Pines, Fla. his mother in law Marion Giaccio of Yonkers, N.Y. also survived by his six cherished grandchildren Dominic, Jessica, Olivia, Luca, Mia and Valerie. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Tuesday 10:30 AM-12:30 PM. where funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM. Interment, Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America alzfdn.org would be appreciated.
