William Klingenstein

Bill died peacefully, at age 80, at home after a long illness.

Born and raised in New York City, the son of Dr. Percy and Carroll Klingenstein. After graduating from The University of Miami, he began his career on Wall Street. Served on the Boards of The New Jewish Home and The Purchase College Foundation at SUNY. He enjoyed tennis, golf, gardening, and spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Francine, Children, Stacy (husband Edwin), and John and grandchildren Gabriella, Saralina, and Stasiu and his sister Jean Klingenstein. His brother, Richard predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, April 26th at Congregation Emanu-El at 2125 Westchester Ave, Rye, NY 10580 and a reception from 4-8 PM at Century Country Club in Purchase, NY and on Sunday, April 28th at the home of Stacy and Edwin Gonzalez from 1-5 PM at 9 Charles Lane, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
