William C. Foster Sr.

William C. Foster, Sr. 83, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on June 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on Jan.25, 1935 to the late Stanley and Mary (nee Peabody) Foster in Bronx, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1954-1958. William is a retired foreman with Teledyne Die Casting Co. in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. and now Stamford, CT. He was an avid fisherman. William is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie (nee Clark) Foster of Hawthorne, N.Y. and by his loving children, Billy Foster, Jr. of Hawthorne, N.Y. and Susan (Arthur) Hickey of Thornwood, N.Y.one brother, Donald Foster of Bronx, N.Y. and also survived by his two cherished grandchildren, Jake and Emily Hickey. Predeceased by his brother, John Foster. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Service, Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bronx, N.Y. on Wednesday, 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to either, Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bronx, N.Y. or Trinity Lutheran Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. would be appreciated.
