William P Fischer

William P. Fischer, Jr. passed away on Sunday, October 19th, 2014. He was born on December 26th, 1943 to the late William and Ethel (Ackerman) Fischer. William graduated from Valhalla High School in 1963 and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1968. He was a third generation owner of his family business at Fischer’s Garage in North White Plains. He is predeceased by his daughter Kristie Fischer. William is survived by his wife Denise Fischer; his son, Troy Fischer; his daughters, Leah Gallagher, and Tatiana Fischer; and three grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kelsie, and Luke. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Donnelly and his brother, Robert Fischer. Visitation will be held from 7 pm-9 pm on Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains. A funeral service will be held at 8 pm on Thursday.
