William F. Decker

William F. Decker 85, a 43 year resident of Valhalla, N.Y. died on April 22, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on April 3, 1925 to the late William and Margaret (nee D'Arcy) Decker in Brooklyn, N.Y. He proudly served in both theaters of WWII and also the Korean conflict in the US Marines. William was an executive with New York Life Insurance Co. in NYC. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie (nee O'Donnell) Decker in 2006 and his sister Joan McCarthy in 2009. Bill is survived by his loving children; William (Charlene) Decker of Armonk, N.Y., Michael (Patti) Decker of North Salem, N.Y., Thomas (Rosemarie) Decker of White Plains, N.Y., Robert Decker of Somers, N.Y., Brian Decker of Valhalla, N.Y., Mary (Richard) Carano of Pawling, N.Y. and Jeanne Cristantiello of Valhalla, N.Y. Also survived by his 17 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday 3-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM.
