William M. Compitello

William M. Compitello 67, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Oct. 30, 2010. He was born on April 29, 1943 to the late William and Matilda (nee Pallatto) Compitello in White Plains, N.Y. William was a heavy equipment operator for the City of White Plains, retiring in 2006. He was predrceased by his devoted wife Gloria Jean (nee Morabito) Compitello in 2006. He is survived by his loving children; William (Martha) Compitello of Apex, N.C., Richard Compitello of Thornwood, N.Y. and Cheryl Ann (Kris) DeNardo of Poughquag, N.Y. one brother Rocco Compitello of West Harrison, N.Y. Also survived by his four cherished grandchildren; Christina and Michael Compitello and Daniel and Alissa DeNardo. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St. John the Evangelist Church, White Plains, N.Y. on Saturday 10:30 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
