Sirkman, Virginia Joined her husband in heaven on Friday, October1, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Harry Sirkman. Dear mother of Harvey (Joyce)Sirkman, Susan (Joseph) Hyson and Jocelyn(Richard) Adelaar. Treasured grandmother of Mark, Mary, Robyn, Jesse, John and Jill. Great grandmother of Maggie, Elizabeth, Richard, Grayson, and Emily. Aunt of Sylvia, Natalie and
Jerry. She will be missed by many friends, especially in her church, Ridgeway Alliance Church and also her faithful companion and caretaker, Arlene, along with all those who lovingly cared for her in Arlene's' absence.
Virginia was born November 10, 1910. She was educated as a registered nurse and worked almost continually in that profession until retiring at 85 years old. She loved crossword puzzles and knitting. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick with the quip. She read her Bible regularly, and prayed for all of her family and friends faithfully.
Visiting hours are from 7pm to 9pm Friday, October 8th at the Ballard-Durand Funeral
Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains. Funeral services at 10:30AM Saturday at Ridgeway Alliance Church, Ridgeway Avenue, White Plains. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.
