Virginia M. Egan 87, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born on August 22, 1923 to the late Walter Kling and Gertrude Nielsen in Arena, Calif. Virginia was a retired Administrative Asst. for Nestles USA, Inc. in Purchase, N.Y. She is survived by her devoted husband Philip Egan of Valhalla, N.Y. and by her loving children; Philip D. ( Margaret) Egan of Atlanta, GA. and Christine Egan ( David Rudolph) of Pound Ridge, N.Y. Also survived by her four cherished grandchildren; Eliza Rudolph, Emily, Andrew and Catherine Allen. Predeceased by her two sisters; Dorothy Lukas and Llewyellen Fisher. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Graymoor Friars, Garrison, N.Y. would be appreciated.
