Viola M Whyte

Viola M. Whyte, beloved Mother and Grandma, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. She worked with her husband at their motorcycling business and at Minuteman Press with her family. She was a Charter member of the American Motorcycling Association and buddy rode with her late husband Donald P. Whyte both for fun and in competition. She is survived by her son Bruce, her daughter Nancy, her husband Frank and her Grandchild Joseph Re, as well as her niece Barbara, her nephews Tom, Jim, George, Robert and their families. The wake will be held on Friday, Dec. 19 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11:30am at Sacred Heart in Hartsdale which will immediately precede the burial in St. Raymond Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
