Vincenza A. Mastracchio, longtime resident of White Plains, NY and later Bethel, CT passed away January 14, 2015, she was 79. Vincenza was born on January 14, 1936 in Tussio, Province of Aquila, Italy to Carmine and Giovaninna (Carosi) Moscardelli. Formally employed by Sonotone in the manufacturing of hearing aids and floral arranger for Corham. Upon birth of her first child, she became a dedicated homemaker. She was devoted to her family and friends and will forever be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Enrico and her son Maurizio. Vincenza is survived by her sons Francesco his wife Diane, Giovanni, his wife Mariana; her daughter-in-law Rosie; her sister and brother-in-law; Fortunata and Edmondo Nanni her brother and sister-in-law Victor & Dorothy Moscardeli as well as 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16th from 2- 4pm & 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue, White Plains, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17th, 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in White Plains. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, NY.
