Vincent J. (Chick) Pennella 77, of North White Plains, N.Y. and formerly of Port Chester, N.Y. died on Nov.6, 2009 at White Plains Hospital Center. He was born on August 12, 1932 to the late George and Mary (nee Unker) Pennella in Port Chester, N.Y. Vincent proudly served in the US Army During the Korean Conflict. He was a retired bricklayer and was a member of the International Bricklayers Union Local 14 & 1 in Greenwich, Conn.Vincent was predeceased by his devoted wife Peggy (nee DeLauretis) Pennella in 1989 and also predeceased by his brother Angelo Pennella and his sister Lucille Masi. He is survived by his 2 loving sons; Vincent G. Pennella and his wife Lori of North White Plains, N.Y. and Randy J. Pennella and his wife Tanya of Somers, N.Y. Also survived by his 3 cherished grandchildren; Tiffany, Nadia and Angelina Pennella. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday 5-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Tuesday 10 AM. Entombment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
