Vincent S. Palmieri 94, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on March 5, 2011. He was born on July 8, 1916 to the late Joseph and Nicolina (nee Peluso) Palmieri in Newburgh, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Vincent was a retired electrical engineer with Executone in NYC, which is now Verizon. He was a life member of the Valhalla Independent Fire Co., Valhalla American Legion, IBEW #3 in White Plains, N.Y. and a former member of the Mt. Pleasant Seniors. Iris (nee Krom) Palmieri in 2004 and is survived by his loving daughters; Joy (Ronald) Dexter of Ossining, N.Y. and Susan (David) Zurlage of Chula Vista, Calif. one brother, Joseph (Florence) Palmieri and one sister, Joan Palmieri, all of Fla.
