Vincent (Jim) Caruso

Vincent (Jim) Caruso 92, of Yonkers, N.Y. died on Nov.15, 2014 at St.John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, N.Y. He was born on Jan.16, 1922 to the late Gaetano and Vincenza Caruso in N.Y., N.Y. He served proudly in the US Navy during WWII and was a graduate of NYU with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Vincent was a very kind and respected person and well loved by all and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a retired estimator/ draftsman. He is survived by his devoted wife, Josephine Caruso of Yonkers, N.Y. and by his loving children, Thomas (Domenica) Caruso of Hawthorne, N.Y., James (Maria Christopher) Caruso of Haddonfield, N.J. and Lorraine Caruso of Harrison, N.Y. also survived by his five cherished grandchildren, Joanne, Thomas (Jaime), Michael, Luca and Pilar. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday (today) 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, St.Anthony's Church, (Nepera Park) Yonkers, N.Y. on Tuesday, 10 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
