Vincent Caldarola, Sr. 87, of White Plains, N.Y. died on Sept.28,2017. He was born on May 28,1930 to the late Rocco and Maria (nee Catalano) Caldarola in White Plains, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Vincent was a retired bricklayer/mason in White Plains, N.Y. and later worked as a foreman for 17 years for the White Plains Parking Authority. Vin was known for his great sense of humor and quick witt. He could tell jokes and stories for hours on end. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed having family dinners and gatherings, going to Myrtle Beach, playing golf and being with great friends. He was a member of the Roma Athletic Club and the VFW in White Plains. Vincent is survived by his devoted wife, Clara (nee Pinon) Caldarola of White Plains, N.Y. and his loving children, Rocco Caldraola of White Plains, N.Y., Vincent (Anna) Caldarola of Mamaroneck, N.Y., John (Kristin) Caldarola of Valhalla, N.Y. and Andrea Caldarola of White Plains, N.Y. also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) Caldarola, Kristina, Amanda, Jillian, John, Matthew and Vincent (Gabriella) Tamburro and one great grandson, Jackson Tamburro. one brother, Rocco Caldarola and two sisters, Filomenia DiLeo and Mary Nardini. and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, Louis (Lutch) and Nicholas. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 4-8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday, 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.
