Vilma M. Machin

Vilma M. Machin 81, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Nov. 17, 2011. She was born on Jan.28, 1930 to the late John and Stella (nee DiVincenzo) Torelli in Roccasalle, Italy. Vilma was a retired Executive Secretary with Readers Digest in Chappaqua, N.Y. She is survived by her devoted husband Wilfred D. Machin of Thornwood, N.Y. and her loving children; Douglas (Suzanne) Machin and Lesley Purdy both of Danbury, Conn. one sister Marie Antoinette Logue and husband Raymond of Las Vegas, NV. Also survived by her five cherished grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, on Sunday 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, N.Y. on Monday 10 AM. Interment, All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Assoc. 2900 Westchester Avenue, Suite 306, Purchase, New York 10577 would be appreciated.
