Vijay C Tharani

Vijay Tharani, age 52, passed away on the morning of September 22, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones. Vijay was born September 14, 1963 in Hong Kong to Chandru and Mohini Tharani. Vijay came to the United States in 1981 and attended college at Montclair State University. He then went on to continue his education and received a Masters in Business from NYU Stern School of Business. Throughout his prominent career, Vijay held multiple positions as a Chief Financial Officer. Vijay will be remembered for his strong compassion for helping others, his rare intellect and his courage. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his daughters Sabrina and Sasha. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 10-11 AM at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave. in White Plains, New York for a reception. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home.
