Timothy S. Gleason 23, of Hawthorne, N.Y. died on Jan.2, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y. as a result of injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on May 21, 1990 to Stephen M. and Susan (nee MacIntosh) Gleason in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. Timmy graduated from Westlake High School, Class of 2008 and worked in the family business, Gleason Plumbing and Heating in Hawthorne, N.Y.
Timmy's personality and smile lit up a room, he had a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was the kindest person that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, friend, boyfriend and soon to be uncle. Timmy's passions included cars and all animals. He is survived by his beloved parents Stephen and Susan Gleason of Hawthorne, N.Y. his loving brothers,
Ryan (Kristen) Gleason of Valhalla, N.Y. Tyler (Nicole) Gleason of Tarrytown, N.Y. and by his maternal grandmother, Jean Otto MacIntosh of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. and formerly of Irvington, N.Y. and by his paternal grandmother, Emily Russo Gleason of Darien, Conn. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Irvington Presbyterian Church, Irvington, N.Y. on Tuesday, 1 PM.
Interment Private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either, Any Animal Shelter of your choice, Trauma Intensive Care Unit at Westchester Medical Center or
Hawthorne Reformed Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. would be appreciated.
