Thomas P. Vaccariello

Thomas P. Vaccariello 83, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on Jan. 1, 2011. He was born on March 2, 1927 to the late Thomas and Carmela (nee Giuseffi) Vaccariello in Albany, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. Thomas was a member of the Local American Lithographers #1 Union in NYC. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Dominic Council in Thornwood, N.Y. Thomas is survived by his devoted wife Theresa (nee Lorenz) Vaccariello of Thornwood, N.Y. and his loving sons; Thomas Vaccariello and his wife Winnie of Thornwood, N.Y. and Victor (Violet) Vaccariello of Bronx, N.Y. also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his two sisters; Marie Madonna and Lucy Cioffi and one brother Peter Vaccariello and by his one cherished grandson Victor Vaccariello in 2002. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
