Thomas Rubicco

Thomas Rubicco was born December 26, 1928 and married the love of his life, Mary Theresa Malheiro September 19, 1953. They were married for 61 years. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. He treasured his family, friends and community. Tom belonged to our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and was an active member of the parish. He was a great supporter of the Holy Name Society and promoter for the Passionist Retreat house in Riverdale. Tom brought love and comfort to those who were sick, suffering and alone as an Eucharistic Minister at the Westchester Medical Hospital and Saint Vincents Hospital. Tom went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2015, at 86 years old. Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy and leaves behind his loving wife, Theresa and his three daughters, Johann, Connie and Lois to celebrate his life and accomplishments. He was very close to his sons-in-laws, David and Sam and very proud of all his grandchildren, Marjorie, Monique, Michelle, Sam, Tommy, Emily, Frank, Robert, Elizabeth and his great grandchildren, Julliette and Arielle. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, May 14th at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 72 E. Main Street, Elmsford, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, May 15th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Elmsford. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
