Thomas William Marrone

Thomas William Marrone of Scarsdale, NY, died on December 3, 2009 after a brief illness. He was 88 years old. Thomas was born January 8, 1921 in New York, NY, son of Felice and Graziella Marrone. He served as a pilot in the Army Air Corp. 22nd bomb squadron, 341st bomb group, in World War II and later worked as a Fireman with the New York City Fire Department. Two sons John and William Marrone survive him as well as sisters-in-law Emily Marrone and Genevieve Colletti and numerous nieces and nephews. His beloved wife Alice Marrone and brother Anthony Marrone pre deceased him. Entombment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
