Thomas, A. Mahony

Thomas A. Mahony 84, of Valhalla, N.Y. died on June 20, 2010 at the Hebrew Hospital Home of Westchester. He was born on Nov.5, 1925 to the late Michael and Joan Mahony in White Plains, N.Y. Thomas proudly served in the US Navy during WWII a year of which was spent in the Southwest Pacific. He was a retired repair foreman with New York Telephone Co. in White Plains, N.Y. He is survived by his devoted wife Fay (nee Weiss) Mahony of Valhalla, N.Y. His loving children; Michael Mahony and his wife Rosemarie of Pleasantville, N.Y. Sharon Mahony Davidson and her husband Michael of Hornell, N.Y. and Kathleen Mahony Brunke and her husband Charles of Putnam Valley, N.Y. two brothers; Michael Mahony of Deerfield, ILL. and Donald Mahony and his wife Barbara of Pittsfield, Mass. and one sister Maryellen Corbin and her late husband David of Fernandina Beach, Fla. Also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren; Thomas A. Mahony, Kelley Mahony Romanowicz and her husband Bryan, Sandi Fay, Laura and Eric Davidson and William and Christopher Brunke, and One Great Grandchild Colin Michael Romanowicz. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment Private.
