Thomas P. Herlihy 57, of North White Plains, N.Y. Died on Dec.12, 2005 at his residence. He was born on May 29, 1948 to John and Catherine (nee Earlis) Herlihy in Bronx, N.Y. Thomas was a Union Representitive with Public Employees Federation in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for 20 years retiring in 2003. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 135 in White Plains, N.Y. and served in the US Army during the Vietman War in the 4th infantry division. He is survived by his wife Helen (nee McCarthy) Herlihy, 2 sons Sean (Terri) Herlihy and Brendan (Jessica) Herlihy. 2 brothers Jack and Kevin Herlihy. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Erin, Megan, Katie and Seamus Herlihy. Predeceased by his 1st wife Maureen Herlihy in 1998 and 1 son Terence in 1998, 1 brother Brian and 1 sister Margaret Leggerio. Reposing Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday 7-9 PM. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday 10 AM. Interment Rose Hills ~1emorial Park in Putnam Valley, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society would be appriciated.
