Thomas (Tommy) G. Allevi

Thomas (Tommy) G. Allevi 58, of Raleigh, NC and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. Went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tommy was born on October 25, 1950, in Tarrytown, N.Y.to the late Roger Allevi and Lucy Calabrano. He graduated from Valhalla High School and served in the United States Navy. Tommy moved to Florida where he later worked for the IBM Corporation in Boca Raton. Tommy was a loyal Yankee Fan from when he was a young boy. He spent his time, the last few months of his life, watching and supporting his team. He is predeceased by his loving parents, whom over the years he dedicated his time to taking care of them. Tommy is survived by his sister; Cindy Halbert, brother in law, Bart Halbert and his niece, Brittani Halbert, who was his pride and joy, all of Raleigh, NC. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday July 23, 2009 7-9 PM. Memorial Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Friday July 24, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's Street , Suite 400, Raleigh, NC 27605 would be appreciated.
