Teresa Alessandro

Teresa Alessandro, 96, of Patterson, NY and formerly of Yonkers, N.Y. died peacefully of natural causes on September 13, 2021. She now joins her beloved husband, Giuseppe Alessandro, who predeceased her in 2007, as well as her mother, father, two sisters and four brothers. She leaves behind her three children and their spouses, Rocco and Filomena Alessandro of White Plains, N.Y. Grace and Jim Johnson of Patterson, N.Y. and Nick Alessandro of Yonkers, N.Y. along with seven grandchildren,  four great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and  countless neices, nephews and friends. She was loved and cherished by her family and brought joy and smiles to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to either a charity of your choice or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN., would be appreciated.
