Terence McCabe 78, of Hawthorne, N.Y. passed away on Sept.20, 2013 at his residence. He was born onJan.28, 1935 to the late Thomas and Kate Mary McCabe
in Co.Monaghan, Ireland. He was educated in Ireland and came to the U.S. in 1958.
He married his loving wife Teresa Galvin at St. Bernard's Church in White Plains, N.Y. on Nov.30, 1963. He worked for Nationwide Insurance in White Plains and for many
years was a computer analyst for Kraft General Foods in Rye Brook, N.Y. until his
retirement. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Divisoin 17 in White Plains since 1959. He was an avid NY Mets and Jets fan. His beloved hobbies included
boating, bowling and golfing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three sons,
Terence (Eileen) of Yonkers, N.Y., Brendan (Laura) of Poughquag, N.Y. and
Kenneth (Annette) of Fairfield, Conn. and his seven cherished grandchildren, Jessica,
Kevin, Kelly, Ashley, Caitlin, Cara and Gavin. also survived by his brother, Eugene
(Maureen) of Yonkers, N.Y. and by his sister, Kathleen (Joe) Callan of Ireland. Predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and Patrick and by his sister, May McGrogh.
