It is with great sadness that we report the sudden death of Suzanne L. Stewart of Ossining, New York and Hollywood, Florida on March 3, 2021, from heart failure stemming from a recurrence of scleroderma. Though it was a merciful end - Suzanne was at home, in good spirits, and had a much loved home aide staying with her - it was much too soon. Born in 1952 in Manhattan, Suzanne graduated from New Rochelle High School (1970) and Mount Holyoke College (1974), before pursuing a career in editing. She was a consummate researcher and fact-checker, and worked for many years as a Senior Research Editor for Reader's Digest magazine. She loved cats, Johnny Mathis, diners, getting together with friends, and just tooling around town. Suzanne was her feisty, funny, demanding, honest, generous self right up until the end. She is survived by her brother Bill Stewart of Hollywood, Florida, her aunt Rita Stewart and cousins Peter and Lisa Stewart of Rye, New York, her cousin Betsy Berger of Hampstead, North Carolina, and a wide circle of loving friends.
