Susan L. Wintje

Susan L. Wintje 73, of Thornwood, NY and formerly of Bronx, NY died on July 27, 2021 at White Plains Hospital Center in White Plains, NY. Susan was born on October 23, 1947 to the late Gertrude and John Wintje. Retired since 2013, she owned and managed Westchester Rubber Stamps based in Yonkers, NY which serviced various city and county offices and hundreds of individual customers for over 25 years.

Susan was predeceased by her Aunt Elsie Rojas in 1984, and her brother John Peter in 2016. She is survived by her beloved wife, Fran (Frances) Carney, her brother, Paul Wintje, her sister-in-law Linda Wintje, grandchildren Regan and Peter Suhay, and dozens of beloved nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces, living throughout the United States.

Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home, Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-5 PM. Interment, Monday, August 2,2021 11 AM, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.

Donations to Rosary Hill Home and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are encouraged.
