Susan Hendrickson

Susan Gressler Hendrickson, a resident of White Plains for 61 years, died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 26, 2013 after a six and a half year battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Robert, her children Timothy Hendrickson (Linda) of Homewood, Illinois, James Hendrickson (Heather) of White Plains and Sarah Farina (Guy) of New Windsor, as well as six grandchildren: Riley Hendrickson, Emily Hendrickson, Kiera Farina, Matthew Farina, Casey Hendrickson and Thomas Hendrickson. She was an active member of Ridgeway Alliance Church, the third of four generations of female college graduates, a participant in a number of PTA functions and involved in local Girl Scout activities. The family will receive friends and family on Monday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Ridgeway Alliance Church, 465 Ridgeway, White Plains, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Christian and Missionary Alliance Great Commission Fund.
