Stephen S. Paruolo of Pleasantville, NY, died on Saturday, March 14th at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan after a brief, but difficult fight with renal cancer. A Loving father and devoted husband, He was only 63 years old. He leaves behind two daughters, Sarah and Emily, as well as his wife of 43 years, Deborah. Stephen was born and raised in the Bronx, graduated from Pace University, and worked as a logistics and supply chain executive of Rainbow Shops and G + G Retail for most of his career. He was also a die-hard New York Rangers fan and New York Yankees fan, who will be remembered for kindness, generosity, and playful spirit. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th at 11am, with visiting hours on Thursday March 19th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm, all of which will take place at Hawthorne Funeral Home, located at 21 West Stevens Avenue in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (giving/mskcc.org/ways-give) or the New York Rangers Garden of Dreams (gardenofdreamsfoundation.org).
