Stephen Cosentino
Stephen Cosentino 28, of Yorktown Hgts., N.Y. and formerly of Elmsford, N.Y. born on October 14, 1993, passed peacefully in his sleep at his home on September 20, 2022.
Stephen’s profound strength that he demonstrated throughout 13 months of battling cancer, proved that a true superhero lived among us.
Stephen was a very loving, engaging, kind, compassionate, and empathic person. His positivity was contagious in all circumstances and he showed consistent support to those in need. He went above and beyond to ensure that all his family and friends knew they were cared for, making him a true friend to all.
When he was born, his father remarked, “Look at the feet on that one!” And, literally, he had big shoes to fill, which he did in his time here. A technology specialist, a historian, a linguist, a comedian, a pro-gamer, and avid collector, Stephen’s interests were intellectually vast.
Everyone who knew him will remember him for his radiantly bright smile and heartwarming laugh. Stephen is survived by his parents, Jeanine and Nicholas, and sister, Marina Rosa Cosentino.
He will be forever cherished and loved by all whom he has touched. His memory and legacy will continue to live on with us for generations to come.
His memorial service will be held Saturday, October 22
nd
from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
The family wishes to thank the hardworking staff for their attentiveness and care at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York.
