Stanley Paul Sosaris 89, of White Plains and formerly of Millwood, NY. Died on Feb.15, 2009 at Sarah Neuman Nursing Home in Mamaroneck, NY. He was born on May 6, 1919 to the late Casimir and Anna Sosaris in Great Neck, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army Air Force as sergent in the 546th bomb squad during WW11 as a radio mechanic. Stanley graduated art school in NYC and later worked in advertising at Young & Rubican as Art Director on Madison Ave. in NYC. He is survived by his devoted wife Monica Vinckus Sosaris, whom he married on March 2, 1946 in Maspeth, Queens and who now resides in the Sarah Neuman Nursing Home in Mamaroneck, N.Y. His loving daughter Judith Monteferrante, MD and her husband Roger E. Salisbury, MD of Rye Brook, N.Y. Predeceased by his sister Lou Ann Rutha in 2006 and his beloved grandson Jason P. Monteferrante in 2004. No Visiting Hours. Funeral Mass, Sts. John and Mary Church, Chappaqua, N.Y. (Little Church) on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, N.Y.
