Stanley George, 1973 - 2022. Beloved father, philosopher, musician, alchemist, entrepreneur and dear friend.
It is with heavy heart that we announce Stanley has passed away on Wednesday, August 24th from complications during a routine outpatient medical procedure.
Taken from us too soon, Stanley enriched and impacted all who knew him. He will be remembered for his wit, charm, kindness, creativity, intelligence, style and his inspiration of others.
Stanley's Pharmacy was an integral part of the Lower Manhattan business community and a beacon of health and wellness for its residents. Stanley’s unique pharmacy fused traditional healthcare with holistic medicine and philosophy: body, mind and soul.
Stanley’s true passion was interacting with people in the community on a daily basis and lifting everyone’s spirits. A void will be felt on Ludlow Street in his absence.
Stanley wouldn’t want anyone he knew to focus on the sadness of this news, but rather to celebrate his special time on earth with music, photos, stories, and loving memories.
Stanley George, a faithful friend, loyal brother, grateful son and loving father, is survived by his two daughters: Ivy George (15) and Vivienne George (12), parents: Matthew George and Elizabeth George and brothers: Philip George and Daniel George.
A Celebration of His Life is also being planned for September 14th in New York City, on what would’ve been Stanley’s 49th birthday. Details to follow.
