Silvio A. Ciaramella

Silvio A. Ciaramella 94, of White Plains, N.Y. died peacefully with his family by his side on Feb. 9, 2018. He was born on Oct. 1, 1923 to the late Nicola and Annunziata (nee Riviezzio) Ciaramella in Moiano, Italy. He was a retired Carabinieri with the Italian Military Police and later after settling in the US he was a self employed landscaper in White Plains, N.Y. Silvio is survived by his devoted wife, Caterina (nee Ciambriello) Ciaramella of White Plains, N.Y. and by his two loving daughters, Susan (Cam) Zicca of Mahopac, N.Y. and Rose (Frank) Brefere of Purchase, N.Y.  also survived by his three cherished grandchildren, John Zicca, Marisa (Tommy) LaRusso  and Jared Brefere and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by his three brothers, Jack, Dino and Anthony Ciaramella and by his one deceased sister, Rosa Porrino. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Sunday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, White Plains, N.Y. on Monday, 10 AM. Entombment, Mt.Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a Charity of Your Choice, would be appreciated.
