Shirley M Collier

Shirley Collier, of Milan, NY lifelong resident of West Harrison until her retirement died Sunday, November 1, 2009 in Kingston, NY. She was 76. Shirley was born December 31, 1932 to the late Louis and Emily Galasso. She married Edward Collier and worked as a waitress at the White Plains Hotel and later in the kitchen at Boces Rye Lake Campus. Surviving are her husband Edward, along with three children Barbara Tobin, Lynn (John) Gallagher and Jay (Ann Marie) Collier. Also surviving are four grandchildren David, Josh and Cody Gallagher and Maggie Collier. She was pre deceased by her son in law Thomas Tobin in 2002. Shirley loved cooking, knitting, her dog Buster and trips to Atlantic City to play the slot machines. Interment will be in the White Plains Rural Cemetery.
