Seymour Fisher

Seymour Fisher, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Ellen (Hyman) Fisher, with whom he celebrated 67 years of marriage in December 2013.

Born in Bronx, NY, Seymour was the son of the late Louis and Nettie (Leiba) Fisher. He served his country in the US Army during WWII, and later became a salesman for the Home Life Insurance Company for over 50 years.

He is survived by daughters, Myra Saturen and her husband David of Bethlehem Township and Alice Benash of Scarsdale, NY; Son; Evan Fisher and his wife Alexis of Easton; brother, Sol Fisher of Orinda, CA; sister, Ruth Braun of Manhattan, NY; grandchildren; Barry and Valerie Saturen, Oriana Fisher, Joshua and Rebecca Benash.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY, 10601. Burial will follow at Sharon Gardens of Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Local arrangements entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
