Scott Alan Robertson was born in Brooklyn, NY on Nov. 30, 1965, and lived most of his life in Westchester County. A 1984 graduate of Ossining High School, he also attended Gordon College and Boston University in MA after which he moved to New Canaan, CT. where he resided for the last 21 years. Over the years he worked for various companies in graphic production. Scott heard the Gospel through Bible stories since childhood during which time he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Before going off to college he joined Community Bible Church where he had participated in many youth activities.
One of our fondest memories is how, especially over the past several years, he would remind us of his love and his prayer for us “twice a day.” His quick perception, sensitive spirit, analytical skill, and sense of humor were extraordinary. Scott became a true audiophile, enjoying all kinds of music as well as a broad array of arts and literature.
He struggled courageously for many years with Type 1 Diabetes and its severe complications. Scott died unexpectedly in a diabetic coma and passed into the presence of the Lord on Oct 5, 2021. He is survived by his parents, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be forever loved and greatly missed until our glorious reunion with the Lord Jesus. “We sorrow, but not as those who have no hope,” because “death is swallowed up in victory” by our wonderful Savior. 1 Thess. 4:13; 1 Cor. 15:54.
A graveside service will be held at his interment in Lakeview Cemetery, 352 Main Street, New Canaan, CT on Saturday, Oct 16 at 11:00 AM. The memorial service will be held on Monday, Oct 18, 2021, at 11 AM, at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains, NY.
