Santo Nicita, Jr

Santo Nicita, Jr. 85 of LaGrangeville, N.Y. and formerly of Valhalla, N.Y. died on Dec.14, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 23, 1927 to the late Santo and Mary (nee Selino) Nicita in Valhalla, N.Y. He proudly served in the US Army. Santo is retired from the Town of Mt.Pleasant, Highway Dept. He was a life member of the Valhalla Fire Co. #1. Santo is predeceased by his devoted wife, Julia Nicita in 2001 and by his four sisters. He is survived by his loving children, Santo III (Debra) Nicita of Winston-Salem, NC., John (Trudy) Nicita of LaGrangeville, N.Y. and AnnaMarie (Steven) Cuomo of LaGrangeville, N.Y. Also survived by his two cherished grandsons, Santo and Joseph and by his two great grandsons, Anthony Santo and Brandon. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Valhalla, N.Y. on Wednesday, 10 AM. Interment, Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
