Sandra E. Grippo 67, of Thornwood, N.Y. died on March 20, 2016. She was born on Jan.25, 1949 to the late Ralph and Gloria Kiefert in Camp Kilmer, N.J. She started her career as a cosmetologist and ended in Marketing Sales. Sandra was a beloved Girl Scout Leader. She is survived by her devoted husband, Carmine Grippo (Ret. MVPD) of Thornwood, N.Y. and by her loving children, Victoria (Johnny) Rowitt of Irvington, N.Y. and Carmine A. (Karen) Grippo of Webbville, KY. one sister, Billie (Taylor) Culin of Sun City, AZ. Also survived by her several brothers and sisters in laws. Visiting at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, 3-7 PM. Where funeral services will be held at 6PM. Interment Private.
