Salvatore John Termini Sr. passed away on August 15, 2017 in Carrolton Texas. He was 91 years of age. A vigil will take place on Tuesday August 22 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in White Plains, New York. Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison New York. Salvatore was born on January 1st, 1926 in Palermo, Italy, the devoted son of Giovanni and Graziella and loving brother of Stephen. He immigrated to the US with his family as a child, became a naturalized U.S. citizen and proudly defended his beloved United States of America in the Pacific Theatre during the Second World War as part of the US Navy. He worked for American Airlines for 47 years, originally in New York and later in Dallas/Fort Worth, before retiring in Bedford. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louise , his sons John, Louis and Sal Jr., daughters in law, Lorraine and Laurel along with four grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Karlsen. A memorial Mass is planned at St. Michael's Church in Bedford Texas in the near future, for which an announcement will be posted.
