Ruth Kaiser 78, of Somers, N.Y. and formerly of Hastings, N.Y. died on Sept.20, 2010 at her residence. She was born on Oct.19, 1931 to the late Joseph and Minnie (nee Fischman) Ekman in Manchester, NH. Ruth worked side by side her late husband Robert Kaiser as a secretary for his Food Mgt. Consultant business in Hastings, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Kaiser in 2008 and by her two deceased brothers; Neale and Bub (Selwyn) Ekman. Ruth is survived by her loving children; Larry Kaiser of White Plains, N.Y. Scott Kaiser and his wife Tammy of Westerly, RI and Melinda Kaiser of Ossining, N.Y. Also survived by her five cherished grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Service, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Wednesday (today) 12 Noon. Interment, Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
